7 Step How to write a Report cover Page

by benny on October 22, 2009

A cover of a report is important. This is the first part of a report you will see, so it must be clear, concise and attractive. Although there is no specific way of formatting a cover page must look professional and clean and a list of some details of the objective and relevant information. The covers should list the report title, author and date of publication. Other information can be included, as the name of the business or academic area affiliated with the report or the place of publication.
Step 1
Make sure the cover is a separate page from the rest of the report. Must be the first page of the report. Must not have a page number.
Step 2
Use a professional source for text on the cover, such as Times New Roman or Arial. Do not use scripts or fonts that resemble handwriting.
Step 3
Put the full title of the report about half of the page. Center the title.
Step 4
Title format where all main words capitalized. Make the font size larger degree than the rest of the text on the page.
Step 5
Place the name of the author of a few lines under the title. All authors of the report. Separate author names with commas or semicolons. Authors’ names can be preceded by “to” two points, but this is not a requirement.
Step 6
Add the date of publication of a few lines under the name of the author. Include the month (with letters), day and year of publication.
Step 7
List affiliations, if necessary. It may be necessary to list the name of the company or university that sponsors the report, for example.
