Born in 2007 in the Euro-Mediterranean Youth Parliament in Berlin, the very first Academy was held in Jordan in 2008 with support from the Goethe Institute and the Anna Lindh Foundation. This experiment was carried out in 2009, when the second edition of the Academy was held in Amsterdam. These days, EMAJ brings together over 50 young journalists from each sides of the Mediterranean.
