How to audition for the Performing Arts Scholarship

Paying for any degree may require loans and grants, but there are scholarships out there for each concentration of study. You can get arts grants, if you know how to compete for them, and if you make a lasting impression at the audition.
Step 1
Put your best foot forward. Prepare a monologue or routine that allows you to shine. Make sure you have thoroughly memorized and practice in front of as many people as possible before the hearing. Everyone should have a monologue that is polished enough to be removed at a moments notice.
Step 2
To provide the viewer with the contrast. The best way to show their diversity is a routine or choose monologues that helps you to use different tools effectively. Choose a routine that covers many genres, and choose monologues that are contrasting and varied.
Step 3
Be different. The scholarship committee performing arts to see many applicants. Find out what kinds of routines and monologues are popular in time and avoid them. Want to stand out from the crowd to get the scholarship.
Step 4
Search outside the school that applies a. Most universities have scholarships specifically for students of performing arts, but there are separate scholarship for the performing arts, too. Cast the net wide search to find most of the scholarships.
Step 5
Give them what they want. The guidelines will be specific to each program. These include the timing and the information required in an application. You must comply with these guidelines for the commission, and then you can let creative juices flowing within them.
