The next edition of International Festival Novruz in Azerbaijan – INFA 2012 – will take spot on March 15 22, 2012 in Baku. This project will give a distinctive opportunity to expertise different parts of the Novruz holiday, such as jumping over bonfires and run via the streets, banging pots and pans with spoons and knocking on doors with their hats and bags to ask for modest gifts (candy and sweets ) and national cookeries tasting like shekerbura, pakhlava, goghal you in no way had before! Another crucial component of this festival is the opportunity to go to the capital of Azerbaijan Baku – City of ages – ancient history, ancient traditions and modern day reality is recognized as “Paris of the East”. And that is not all, many surprises await you …
Objectives
- - To develop a culturally diverse and open environment exactly where all participants will be in a position to express their own culture and appreciate other people, talk about different global troubles (such as “tolerance”, “local traditions and globalization”, “culture in the modern day globe ‘,’ music as a form of expression”, and so on..)
- - on mutual benefit in various cultures in the world and promote peace in our massive property -. Earth
- - To explore the ancient traditions and customs of the culture of Azerbaijan, to celebrate the feast of old Novruz -. the beginning of spring in Azerbaijan
Eligibility Requirements
This occasion aims to bring together 70 participants motivated from the age of 18 to 35 who are interested in culture and ancient traditions.
Fees
There is a participation fee of 60 Euros. This fee covers the following expenses:
- - Accommodation and food throughout the week,
- - nearby transport
- - Free admission to the parties and other events
The participants
will need to have to cover their travel expenses themselves. Only limited funds readily available to provide reimbursement of travel costs of some participants qualified. Requests for monetary help for travel costs will be considered individually.
