STEP Beyond Travel Grant from the bottom up and new artists and cultural workers – with a priority for people 35 years and / or within the very first ten years of his profession – for travel in between the EU and the nations bordering the EU. Because 2003, STEP – which signifies “Journey of support for the European Collaboration – Beyond travel grants have supported the movement of hundreds of individuals across European borders, providing in between 250 € and 700 €. In 2010, we have awarded 159 grants to individual trips in between 250 € and 700 €.
Fund the mobility and exchange links closely to the overall objectives of ECF and particularly to our European Neighbourhood plan, at the moment working organizations in Moldova, Ukraine and Turkey. Beyond travel grants to support artists and cultural workers based in 1 of the following countries: Albania, Algeria, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic , Denmark, Egypt, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lebanon, Libya, Liechtenstein, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Malta, Moldova, Montenegro , Morocco, Netherlands, Norway, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, Ukraine and the United Kingdom.
All the activities of the Mobility Fund ECF revolved about three standard strategic principles:

In order to facilitate the operation of the fund, and to obtain its objectives, has been the largest pan-European location divided into two groups.

Step further delivers 3 types of grants (350 euros, 500 and 700) based on travel distances and the typical expense of travel. Eligible applications are evaluated by the team step further for the duration of the pre-selection, soon after this assessment ECF will choose proposal to support. Each winners and unsuccessful applicants are notified by e-mail about a month soon after the date of submission of applications.
